Since its formation, the organization has had several civic education sessions with the communities. The organization also used participatory education theatre outreaches to conduct civic education in public places such as markets, barazas, chiefs’ camp, religious and other informal gatherings.
The organization has also been following up on SGBV cases and ensured that they provide psychological support and legal advice to the victims but also proper documentation/ preservation of evidence for a watertight case once it’s referred to partners who will assist in taking the case to court.
MWARP is also part of the technical working group led by ELOG with a mandate of strengthening democracy in Kenya and African Region through the promotion of inclusive, transparent and accountable electoral processes comprising of 17 Civil Society Organizations and Faith-Based Organizations Spearheading elections reforms.
